The Lambton Lions had a strong start to second semester and at now 2-0 in OCAA action in 2013.
It was a tough first half for Lambton as four of five anticipated starters fell or were hampered by severe injury. "It is nice having everyone back in the lineup," says team captain Justin Zonneville. "We experienced a lot of tough moments in our first semester together, but I think we are starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel."
Zonneville was one of the most severely injured Lions, only playing sparce minutes in the teams first 16 games as a fractured finger forced him too the sidelines. He is one of 11 rookies on the Lion's 14 man roster -- something that bodes well for the future of the squad.
"We are hoping to have a good finish to this campaign and get right back into preparing for next season. With so many young guys coming back with a year of experience under their belt, it should shape up to be a fun 2013-2014."
