    The Counselling Centre

    The Counsellors at Lambton College are ready to assist you with any decisions, problems and challenges that you may encounter on your road to a diploma at Lambton College. We specialize in:

     All information shared with the counsellors remains confidential (Confidentiality Statement).

    Hours of Operation

    The Counselling Centre is open daily during the school year

    8:30am - 4:30pm  

    Summer hours of operation

    Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm 

     

    Drop-in sessions

    The Counselling Centre has drop-in sessions everyday. Drop-ins are usually items that require about 15 to 20 minutes or less.

    Appointments to see a Counsellor can be arranged through our Reception in Room E 109. Alternately you can call 519-542-7751x3412 or email counselling@lambtoncollege.ca 

    Appointments are 1 hour sessions and are usually for more complex discussions.

     Emergencies

    Emergencies in the Counselling area are usually of a personal nature, such as anxiety or a panic attack, a family crisis, overwhelming feelings etc. Please indicate to our reception that you are having an emergency to ensure that you are seen on a priority basis. If you are not sure if it is an emergency please come in and we will help you to assess the situation.
