WHAT IS A FIRST GENERATION STUDENT?
Any student who is admitted to, and enrolled in a program of instruction offered by Lambton College, and whose parent(s)/guardian(s) have not attended a post-secondary institution, is considered a First Generation Student.
The First Generation Math & Writing Learning Centre is a free service available to First Generation students that was created to further assist First Generation students in succeeding at the college level. Students work closely with faculty and Centre staff. They can access a variety of specialty services geared toward assisting and supporting First Generation students.
Registration is required to use our services. Students can register at any time during the semester in Room L202.
