Why do I need to log in?
The purpose of the Lambton College Council on Aboriginal Education is to identify opportunities for new services, programs and courses and to consider, review and suggest changes/revisions to existing programs, courses and services in relation to Aboriginal people. More specifically, this Council will be involved in providing assistance in determining services, program objectives, curriculum, facilities, clinical and field experience, admission requirements, certification requirements, placement opportunities and effectiveness of graduates regard to Aboriginal people. The committee will assist in identifying Aboriginal community training needs and educational opportunities. The Council is also the primary source of information to the College generally and to the Board of Governors through membership on the College Board of Governors.
This Council will provide liaison with the Aboriginal communities for the dissemination of information about programs, the development of scholarships and bursaries and the recruitment of students.
