Partial Load Registry
The Collective Agreement includes a requirement for partial load employees to register their interest in being employed as a partial load employee by April 30 for the following year. Additionally, partial load employees will also select the number of partial load hours they are prepared to teach for that academic year.
Dates of Registration
Registration for the 2024/2025 academic year will be open January 1, 2024 until 11:59 p.m. April 30, 2024.
Effective Date
Registered partial load employees by April 30, 2024 will be given priority consideration for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Registrants are to select the number of partial load hours they are prepared to teach in the department for which they register.
As per Article 26.10D and 16.10E, once the school or department determines there is a partial load assignment available, registered partial load employees who meet the following criteria will be given priority consideration:
- Employed as a partial load employee at the time of the partial load assignment is being offered or has been a partial load employee for at least eight months of service - as defined by 26.10C - within the last four academic years
- Has previously taught all the courses that make up the partial load assignment in the school or department in which the assignment is being offered
Registration Process
- Employees must register once every year by April 30 in order to be added to the registry for the following academic year
- Complete the form below to indicate you're interested in working as a partial load faculty
- If you are interested in working for more than one department, please submit a form for each department
