  • Student Ethics Ambassador

The Centre for Academic Integrity (CAI) Ambassadors are all regular, everyday students from various walks of life and a variety of programs at the College. What we all have in common is a sense of “what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong.”

We are proud to part of the only college level CAI in Ontario. We believe in academic integrity and that the students of Lambton College should have a place to go to freely and openly voice their feelings and concerns about dishonestly in college level education. We acknowledge that there are many reasons that students feel they need to cheat, so we strive to empower the student population and encourage everyone to use all resources the College has to offer. Our Student Integrity Credo directly reflects this empowering disposition. – Rachel Frauley, CAI Ethics Ambassador

What do you need to be an Ethics Ambassador?

    • Be a leader in modelling exceptional decision making and ethical behaviours.
    • Be strong and dynamic in communications.
    • Bring creative ideas to team meetings
    • Develop innovative and inspiring student centered promotional materials for the CAI.

An Ethics Ambassador must be willing to participate in promoting academic integrity through:

    • open houses
    • campus connection
    • first day activities
    • classroom visits
Zhe Liu (Kevin): “If you want to make a difference, you have to speak up for yourself. I chose to become part of the CAI because that is where my voice matters.” – Ethics Ambassador 2013-2015
Brandon: “For me, it’s about standing for something. The larger picture is that I want my fellow students to know the more they respect themselves and learn here, the more they will be respected in the workforce.” – Ethics Ambassador 2014-2015
