Judith Morris is a passionate and innovative academic leader
with more than 30 years of experience working in post-secondary education. For
the past five years, Morris has served as the President & CEO of Lambton
College, helping to establish the College as a global leader in research,
education and innovation.
Under her management, Lambton College’s enrolment has grown
significantly, with Morris leading the charge in the development of programs
designed to diversify the student body and increase employment outcomes for

for students, Morris has been instrumental in linking industry and education through
college collaborations with businesses and industry. She also successfully
campaigned all levels of government to help fund a new campus Health &
Research Centre, which is expected to be completed in 2018.
Morris hails from Northern Ontario, where she got her start
working as a supervisor for a group home for people with developmental
handicaps. Shortly after, she landed a faculty position at Sault College, and
was named Dean of Continuous Learning in 1996, a position she held for eight
years before assuming the role of Vice President, Academic at Lambton
As a leader, Morris is known for fostering innovation and
entrepreneurship among faculty, staff, and students, and is a vocal champion
for equality and accessibility in education. She’s also actively involved in
various community initiatives such as the Rotary Club of Sarnia, Sarnia-Lambton
Economic Partnership, Western Research Park Board, and Bio-Industrial Canada.
In addition to being a member of various College Ontario committees, Morris
also co-chairs the eCampus Ontario Consortium, and sits on MTCU’s Labour Market
Committee, the Committee of Presidents, and the Provincial Executive
Compensation Framework Development Committee. Morris holds a M.A. in Adult and
Continuing Education, a B.Ed Specialist in Special Education and an Hon. B.A.
She currently resides in Sarnia with her husband Gerry, and
enjoys spending time with her grown sons, Christopher and Adam, and their
