About Faculty Services

Faculty can access a number of services in the library to better enable their students to complete assignments.

Below is a list of services that increase information literacy and also allow students to access library resources to enhance their learning experience:

  • Familiarize your students with library resources - contact a staff member to book a library resource presentation for your class
  • Book a Research Skills presentation - most students are unfamiliar with academic libraries, we can help by conducting a research skills presentation - just contact a staff member to book
  • Give the library staff a heads-up - let us help by supplying us with assignments and recommended sources so that we can help your students when they ask questions - this team approach will make completing the assignment clearer for student and will make it easier for the library staff to assist them
  • Verify references you are giving your students - see if the library owns the materials you are referencing by checking the online catalogue or by speaking to a staff member
  • Put materials on Reserve - contact asklibrary@lambtoncollege.ca to place materials on Reserve that will assist your students in completing class work
